LinyiHot-rolled strip support roll

Hot rolled strip support rolls typically consist of three parts: the roll body, the roll neck, and the shaft. The roll body is the main working part of the support roll, directly contacting and supporting the strip, and bearing high temperature, high pressure, and friction during rolling. The roll neck connects the roll body and the shaft, acting as a transition and support. The shaft is used to install and fix the support roll, ensuring its stable operation in the rolling mill.

Product Description

Hot rolled strip support rolls typically consist of three parts: the roll body, the roll neck, and the shaft head. The roll body is the main working part of the support roll, directly contacting and supporting the strip, and bearing high temperature, high pressure, and friction during rolling. The roll neck connects the roll body and the shaft head, acting as a transition and support. The shaft head is used to install and fix the support roll, ensuring its stable operation in the rolling mill.

Depending on the different designs of the rolling mill, the structure of the support roll will also vary. For example, in a four-high rolling mill, the support roll is usually designed with a larger diameter and width to provide sufficient rigidity and load-bearing capacity. In a two-high rolling mill, the structure of the support roll is relatively simple, but it still needs to meet the requirements of high strength, high wear resistance, and high heat resistance.
