On July 1, a high-level delegation led by China Baowu Group Ouyeel Industrial Products Co., Ltd. and jointly organized with Baosteel Rolling Division paid a special visit to Yongfeng Roll Co., Ltd. to engage in in-depth discussions regarding collaboration on hot-rolled strip production line rolls. This exchange marks a new phase of synergistic development in the hot-rolled plate sector, building upon the successful partnership established in the structural steel domain. Sun Xuehui, Deputy General Manager of Yongfeng Roll, extended a warm welcome throughout the visit, engaging with the delegation to discuss collaboration and outline future plans.
As a first-tier subsidiary of China Baowu Group, Ouyeel Industrial Products integrates the Group's premium resources in engineering design, warehousing logistics, and supply chain services. Its operations span core domains including industrial operations, logistics distribution, and digital services. The company comprehensively undertakes centralized procurement tasks for Baowu Group's 18 steel bases and 38 mining companies, with an annual centralized procurement scale exceeding RMB 50 billion, serving as a pivotal hub within Baowu's supply chain system. Baosteel Rolling Division, as the Group's core steel production unit, shoulders the mission of maintaining core hot-rolling capacity. Its crude steel output ranks second among global listed steel enterprises, while its production volume and technology in high-end segments like automotive sheet and silicon steel lead the world. It stands as a key force driving the global steel industry's transition toward high-end and green transformation.
During the exchange, Deputy General Manager Sun Xuehui extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He comprehensively introduced Yongfeng Roll's integrated capabilities and industry advantages across four dimensions: product R&D innovati
on, precision manufacturing processes, end-to-end quality control, and stable supply assurance. The delegation highly recognized Yongfeng Roll's deep technical expertise, outstanding product quality, and market reputation in the roll manufacturing field. They engaged in in-depth discussions on technical requirements for hot-rolled strip rolls and potential cooperation models, expressing strong confidence and keen anticipation for future deep collaboration in the hot-rolling sector.
Prior to the symposium, Deputy General Manager Sun Xuehui accompanied the delegation on an in-depth tour of Yongfeng Roll's production lines, showcasing the upgraded green transformation of its roll manufacturing facilities. The delegation observed key processes including roll smelting, casting, heat treatment, and machining up close, gaining detailed insights into technical highlights and quality control standards throughout production. Relevant personnel from Yongfeng Roll's Sales Department provided full accompaniment.
This visit and exchange has built a stronger communication bridge between the two parties, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration in the hot-rolled strip sector.
